The Salix Knife is named after the very tool used to make it, ‘the draw knife’. An exquisite tool, and the true partner to the cricket bat maker, in this case, the legendary Andrew Kember. This grade 1 bat has been shaped by hand, in humble surroundings, without fuss or bravado.
The trees are cultivated and grown in England, the clefts are cleaved and dried in England, and these handmade ‘Knives’ are made England.
An anti scuff sheet is provided by Salix. This is not fitted, but included in the box. It can be applied after knocking to ensure excellent durability and performance.
